While on the court, Oikawa wears the standard aqua and white Aobajōsai High sports jersey with the number 1 on it, as well as black athletic shoes with aqua details. He also wears a black knee pad on his left knee and a white knee brace on his right, presumably due to a previous injury. It has been shown that many others find him attractive — to the point where girls from Aobajōsai and other high schools around the area follow him around just to talk to him. ▶ AURAL: (Cheerful 0:05-0:14 | Serious 5:46-5:57) Oikawa is voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, giving him a voice around a baritone to tenor range. Many people see Oikawa as carefree and laidback and when they first meet him due to his lilting, relaxed voice. However, in more serious situations, his seemingly easygoing attitude is gone and is replaced with a more intense presence. He has a casual way of speaking and has been known to give nicknames to friends and enemies alike. ▶ OLFACTORY: Some sort of AXE body spray, with a tinge of sweat. Hey, the kid plays sports, what can you do. ▶ DEMEANOUR: Because of his apparent casual nature, people's first impression of Oikawa is that he's childish. However, he's able to turn on the charm, making him very popular among the female students. Oikawa frequently smiles and grins, although Iwaizumi Hajime, his childhood friend and the team’s vice captain, has made note that these expressions are rarely genuine. He tends to make “peace signs” or large waving gestures, which are often accompanied by broad smiles or a wink. When he steps out onto the court, however, his personality seems to do a 180, as he becomes much more serious and laser-focused.
